Vill du lära dig en partnerdans som du kan dansa till en stor bredd av musik, från pop, blues, r’n’b, jazz och mera? Då passar det sig perfekt med West Coast Swing. Det är en relativt ny dans här i Sverige som nu växer och växer! Dansen har en rik historia i USA, framförallt i Kalifornien där den är delstatens officiella dans. West Coast Swing är en modern swingdans med mjuka rörelser och en lite mer avslappnad känsla. Den är lekfull och musikalisk och lämnar mycket utrymme för improvisation och musikanpassning.

Denna kursdag ger dig en rivstart in i dansen West Coast Swing. Vi kommer att gå igenom dansens grunder så att du får en bra bas till att börja socialdansa och delta på fler kurser.

Kursen kommer att hållas på svenska med möjlighet att ställa frågor och få svar på engelska.

Vuxen paranmälan: 500 kr per person
Vuxen singelanmälan: 500 kr
Student* - paranmälan: 250 kr per person
Student* - singelanmälan: 250 kr

*För att få studentrabatt behöver du vid anmälan i rutan "Discount code" fylla i STUDENT för singelbiljett, STUDENTHALVPAR om en i ert par är student och STUDENTPAR om båda i ett par är studenter

I kursen ingår: 4 timmars nybörjarkurs + fika

I enlighet med distansköplagen kan du avboka din kurs utan kostnad i 14 dagar efter din anmälan. Om kursen startat under din ångerperiod accepterar du i och med dessa villkor att du får betala för de tillfällen som passerat när du meddelar oss att du ångrat dig. Avbokning ska vara skriftlig till info@westcoastnights.se. Evenemang som endagskurser eller helgkurser kan inte avbokas.

West Coast Swing is a dance that you can dance to a wide variety of music, for example pop, blues, RnB, jazz. It is a relatively new dance here in Sweden, which is becoming more and more popular. The dance has a rich history in the US, especially in California where it is the official state dance. West Coast Swing is a modern swing dance with soft movements and a relaxed feeling, it's fun and playful and musical and leaves a lot of room for improvisation.

This intensive course will give you a head start into dancing West Coast Swing. We will go through the basics of the dance so that you will have a good foundation for starting social dancing and attending further courses.

The teachers will be available for questions at the start of the social dance.

The course will be held in Swedish, with the possibility to ask questions and receive answers in English.

We provide coffee, small cake and sandwiches in the breaks
There is possibility to bring your own food to the venue and warm it up in microwave

Adult couple's pass: 500 SEK per person
Adult single pass: 500 SEK
Student couple: 250 SEK
Student single: 250 SEK

* To receive student discount you will have to fill in your code in the box marked "Discount code" at registration. Fill in STUDENT for a single pass, STUDENTHALVPAR if one in a couple is a student or STUDENTPAR if both in a couple are students

Included in the price are 4 hours of classes and 1 hour of practice time and free entrance to the social dance.

WHEN YOU REGISTER, THESE CONDITIONS APPLY

In accordance with the distance purchasing act, you can cancel your course free of charge for 14 days after your registration. If the course started during your cancellation period, you accept in these terms and conditions that you have to pay for the occasions that have passed when you notify us that you have canceled. Cancellation must be in writing to info@westcoastnights.se. Events such as one-day courses or weekend courses cannot be cancelled.
